National Level Technical Paper Meet For Students - Mecharnival -06 on 4th March 2006

Fresh, Technovative papers are invited from the topics of different streams of Mechanical Engg. as mentioned below:

Thermal Stream:

1. Advanced Trends in I.C Engines

2. Non-Conventional Energy Sources

3. Computational Fluid Dynamics/Methods

4. Eco-Friendly Refrigerants/Cryogenics

5. Heat Transfer

Design Stream:

1. Mechatronics

2. Fuzzy Logic and Neural Network

3. Tribology /Friction, Wear-failure Analysis

4. Optimization Techniques in Design

5. Vibration / Condition Monitoring

Production & Industrial Stream:

1. Advanced Manufacturing Systems

2. Rapid Prototyping

3. Total Quality Management

4. FMS/CIM/Robotics/Automation

5. Reverse Engg/Re-Engg/ Concurrent Engineering

Instruction to the Participants:

1. The Participants should be an under Graduate in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Mechatronics Engg. from Various States.

2. The Papers shall have a maximum of 2 authors.

3. Three copies of original papers in not more than 3000 words i.e. 10 pages A4 size with 1.5 line spacing should be sent along with an abstract of 200 words. Soft copy is compulsory.

4. A bonafide certificate from the principal / HOD of their institution should accompany the paper.

5. Duration of presentation shall be 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes discussion.

6. Jury's decision shall be treated as final.
