The QIS college of Engineering and Technology The QIS college of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1998, and sponsored by Sri Nidamanuri Educational Society to promote technological education to meet the requirement of a developing nation in the context of global concern at the threshold of the twenty first century. A team of educated , enlightened, experienced technocrats with vision, firmly determined to promote high quality education is striving to provide every facility for achieving excellence. The college is one of the best colleges in and around the Prakasam Dist. The Standards of teaching are very high when compared with the other colleges. The college is affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The College has made an application to the AICTE the apex body for grant of additional courses and additional intake of the students. The additional courses will commence from the academic year 2005-06 i.e from August 2005.

The telugu medium B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry) is being offered from 2004-05 academic year. The Degree College also have existing BCA Students. The Degree College has its own buildings, Computer labs, other laboratories which are on par with the engineering college labs.
The QIS Public School a co-educational English Medium with CBSE & State Syllabi is building competence to match challenges of the children. Apart from academic excellence, it aims to help the students expand their minds to absorb the essence of being complete individuals, who can face the challenges of tomorrow with confidence. The school commenced in the month of June 2004 and a record number of 440 students were admitted in the first year of its operations. The expected admissions in the next academic year will be more than 800 students though we projected very low for the future fee receipts in the projected income statement. The School is providing Air Conditioned class rooms, Library, Play way method, Computer labs to the students.
