Guidelines For The Students

QIS Get expects its students to be models of excellence in pursuing their studies, in their behaviour, conduct, discipline, habits and in general uphold the standards of the college, within and outside. In order to achieve their objectives, a code of conduct is prescribed which every student is required to follow diligently.

Code of Conduct

Discipline is necessary, and this is especially true of an institution for the education of youth. This discipline is informative, not repressive. It leads the students to ordered and successful life.

A student may not leave the classroom without permission or until the lecturer has left the room or asked to disperse. On a member of the staff entering the classroom or leaving it, the students shall rise and remain standing till he/she takes his/her seat or leaves the room.

Students are forbidden to attend or to organize any meeting in the college or to collect money for any purpose without the express the permission of the principal.

No matter for publication in newspapers, magazines or journals may be submitted in the name of the college by students without the permission of the principal.

Change Of Residence

The dayscholars shall report to the Principal whenever they change residence. Failure to report within three days will be regarded as a serious breach of discipline. Leave must be obtained in advance and in writing from the Principal to cease to live in the hostel and begin residing in town.

By the very fact of joining the college, students agree to observe the rules and regulations of the college. The decision of the Principal shall be final in all the matters of discipline and enactment of rules.
